Swarm Removal and relocation of Honey Bee hives to safe and controlled environment. When a honey bee colony outgrows its current space, the queen and roughly half the bees leave to find a new home. First they land on a tree branch, bush, or some other location usually 3-15 feet off the ground then scouts will find a new location for the hive to start again. A swarm of honey bees is organized chaos and can look worst than it is, in most cases a swarm may only stay for a short time period before a new site is chosen for the bee colony to make a permanent home. A bee colony will make their home in any cavity they can find including floors and ceilings if accessible. If you are looking to keep pest out of these spaces I offer prevention and sealing services, you can find more information on my prevention page. I do remove honey bee colonies from residential and industrial locations, all evictions are done with the intent of keeping the bees alive. I do not exterminate honey bees, all bee hives are relocated to a safer, more controlled environment where they are treated for mites and fed proteins and sugar to quickly build colony strength to endure the winter. With my experience in bee keeping I get many calls dealing with other stinging insects such as yellow jackets, hornets, wasp, and carpenter bees. These nuisance stinging pest I will exterminate and remove the hive if accessible otherwise a greater cost can occur based on where the hive is located.
