Cutting branches or tees

Depending on the type of animal or rodent problem you are dealing with major altercations to landscape may not be necessary but changes maybe required. Much of the landscaping done around homes such as bushes, trees, and plants were great back in the day when they were small and cute. As time marched on what was small n cute maybe big and ugly now or just unfitting for the space it was given. Over grown bushes or plant settings can provide cover just as well as anything in a field. Keeping landscape clear of old leaves, debris from last years growth and even removing thick build up of  pine needles to a certain extent can help keep the smaller critters from nesting or foraging on your property. Trees where the main body or trunk is at a distance of 6 foot or more away from from the roof or house can get away with trimming branches possibly. For those trees that the trunk is rubbing on the gutter system should be removed (BUT) wildlife like raccoon can easily find a alternative route such as gutters to gain access to the roof. Branches that rub on the roof, even just when the wind blows hard will cause damage to shingles and shorten a roofs life expectancy. Branches that hang just above the roof will allow critters like squirrel to get on the roof and possibly raccoon if they are large enough.
